Amarillo® hops enjoy a special place of adoration in the hearts of brewers. Often described as a supercharged version of Cascade. Bursting with floral, tropical, and citrus (lemon, orange and grapefruit) characteristics, but it has a distinctive Orange character to it that is very different from Cascade. An excellent choice of super hoppy beer styles like Hazy IPA or West Coast IPA, Pale Ales, or Hoppy Lagers. But really, it’s an excellent addition to any beer where you want citrus flavors to pop.
